Overview

This programme is designed to produce contractors and first line Managers who are able to manage and coordinate installation on residential, commercial and properties, either independently, or as a part of an electrical related company/organization.

• Legal requirements for the connection and supply of electricity
• Electrical Standards and Codes
• Calculus
• Electrical testing and verification
• Commissioning process for electrical equipment and systems
• Trouble shooting and repair complex electrical systems and circuits
• Introduction to energy audit

Entry Requirement

NVQ-J Level 3 Diploma – Electrical Installation

Qualification Gained

• NVQ-J Level 4 Associate Degree in Electrical Installation Inspection. The NVQ-J Certification is recognized in all CARICOM and Commonwealth countries.
