Overview
The CJSSCSP provides intermediate level training to field rank officers and their equivalents from law enforcement and civil organizations. This level of training prepares senior officers to function effectively across a continuum of operations in command and staff positions. The CJSSCSP provides operational level joint, multinational, and inter agency education to participants at the intermediate level of leadership. The programme focuses on military operations and operational planning, the study of leadership and command, and the nature of military mission accomplishment through national and international studies. The programme awards an optional postgraduate Masters in Defence Studies (MSc MDS).

Objectives
CJSSCSP is designed to develop officers who will understand the doctrinal tenets of warfare in all domains, the principles of mission command and the application of leadership within a command perspective. Students will understand how to plan and conduct multi-domain Full Spectrum Operations (FSO) at the tactical, operational and strategic levels in a JIMP environment. Upon achieving this qualifying standard, officers will have the requisite competencies to serve both as unit commanders and as staff officers in Brigade, Task Force, Formation and Division headquarters.
Graduates of the CJSSCSP will possess a war fighting mindset that enables them to lead competently and confidently on JIMP teams and throughout the spectrum of operations, and will:

Applicants to the CJSSCSP must meet the following criteria:
Language Requirements
The CJSSCSP is conducted in English and therefore all students must have a good command of both written and spoken English Language. Applicants whose first language is not English must have completed TOEFL. A score of 500 in the TOEFL Test for foreign students will be accepted as equivalent to and in place of, an acceptable (CSEC) Grades I-III in English (A) from applicants whose native language is not English OR Grade B or above in a College English Programme from an approved university.
The test must have been taken no more than five (5) years before the commencement of the Programme. Applicants whose native language is not English must ensure that the TOEFL test is done in time to have the results forwarded to The UWI or CMA before the close of application.
