The spouse of a member of the JDF
Applicants who are current military personnel must meet one of the following conditions:
An applicant to the Basic Military Occupation Qualification (BMOQ) entry programme of the Jamaica Defence Force
Be a serving member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) for not less than three years and have completed domain-specific qualification
Be an ex-service member of the JDF, having served for a minimum of 3 years, except if service was terminated for any of the following reasons:
By court-martial or dismissal with disgrace from Her Majesty’s Service;
Service Misconduct;
Illegally absent
For unsatisfactory conduct arising from a service tribunal of an offence which warrants release for unsatisfactory conduct but did not warrant release under service misconduct
Made a fraudulent statement upon enrolment
Unsatisfactory Conduct
Unsatisfactory Performance;
Not Advantageously Employable;
Irregular Enrolment;
Unsuitable for Further Service
